People say that you shouldn’t let you political differences interfere with your personal relationships. I call bullshit. Your political beliefs are a reflection of your character, and that has never been more clear than it is right now.

We are barreling downhill into fascism with a third of Americans cheering and pumping their fists because a conman told them he would “make America great again” and lower grocery prices.

But let’s be very clear. People don’t support trump because he’s promised to make eggs cheaper. People voted for trump because he gives them permission to be the worst possible version of themselves.

This blind rage against being “Woke” where do you think it comes from when the people who are so “anti-woke” can’t even define what “woke” is?

Well let me help them.

For the past few generations these people have been told that being a horrible, greedy, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, self obsessed asshole might be a *bad* thing and they might want to “wake up” to that reality.

trump comes along and tells them:

“Greed is good.”

Racism, good. Misogyny, good. It’s good to hate and fear anyone who is different from you. Who cares about climate change? We’ll all be dead before it’s a real problem, fuck them kids.

trump gives license to their most base qualities and praises them for it.

Tired of feeling bad about yourself for being a racist asshole? Come on over here buddy, let’s secure a future for your white children, ‘merica. Here, put on this stupid Chinese made hate hat so everyone will know you are one of the good guys.

“Wokeness” made people feel bad for being selfish intolerant garbage humans and they *hate* it.

I hope they enjoy all this greatness.
